For Kindergarten to Grade 3 students
For the third year now, we will ask parents to pay $40 to the school. Through bulk purchasing we are better able to provide exactly what each student will need in their class next year and at the same time save parents money. In primary classes, supplies are generally combined together and shared anyways. This is a more efficient way for classes to run smoothly. Leftover supplies at the end of this school year will be re-used in classes next year. This helps us bring the cost down a bit. Please pay $40 by cash or cheque to your current classroom teacher or the office.
For grade 4 to 7 students
We still want students to have their own school supplies. This helps them become more independent and responsible for their supplies. Parents can purchase them through THE TEACHER'S FILE, a local company. Ten percent of all sales go directly back to the school. These supply bags will be delivered to the school in September. There is a link to this option on the school website here or you can drop off your order in the office by June 29th.. There is a late fee of $5 for orders after July 15. Supplies are between $39 and $58, depending on the grade.
Of course, parents can also choose to recycle or purchase the supplies at other stores if they prefer. Just print off a list from the same website and shop wherever you like. If you don't have a printer you can pick up a list a the school office.
